Part of the "Inspired by…" series, the Queen of the Night Bracelet is inspired by the dark mother of Pamina in Mozart’s The Magic Flute. Dramatic and manipulative, her command to Tamino to rescue her daughter sets the story of Die Zauberflote in motion.
I chose deep indigo “goldstone” beads with their inherent sparkle to evoke starlight. Facebook fans suggested deep purples for this bracelet so I used violet crystals to further symbolize the night. A regal crown charm represents the queen. The moon is indicated by a luminous glass sea opal bead and crescent moon charm. Iridescent colors and star shaped beads further the magical theme, while a dagger charm reveals the Queen's true intentions.
All "Inspired By..." Series Bracelets come with a card that identifies the symbolism of the charms and colors used.

Our daughter is performing with the St Petersburg Opera Company in Die Zaubeflote as The Queen of the Night in February. This is was the first role she sang in college, and has become her signature role. We are so excited for her and are traveling to see her opening night performance. We wanted something special to commemorate this event in her life and when I saw this bracelet I knew I had found it! Cannot wait to present it to her after opening night! Thank you for the work and detail!

I am obsessed with anything Magic Flute, and since I've sung Third Lady a number of times, I'm especially obsessed with the Queen of the Night! The bracelet is gorgeous and well made. I love the charms and the colors, I'm so excited to wear the bracelet when I go see the Magic Flute next month! Thank you, Cindy!

I wore this lovely bracelet when I went to dinner with a dear friend. I explained it to her, what the charms represented, and she was just as enamored as I have been! She took down the website link so she could shop for herself and the other musical women on his Christmas list. I am absolutely fascinated by the concept of your work and so tickled to have some of it to wear and share! The workmanship is terrific and the packaging w/explanation of the charms is a great touch! Well done!
