Gershwin's beloved opera, Porgy and Bess, is a later work which has copyright protection. This prevents me from directly re-telling its story in a Full Story Opera Bracelet. However...
To commemorate this work for its many fans, I have created the Summertime "Inspired by..." Bracelet. This bracelet celebrates the words of the opera's most well known aria. I recall hearing this aria in high school. The girl who was our "best singer" was preparing to sing it for a concert and my friends and I hung out near the music department. I can't remember her name...maybe she was a big success... or is a customer!
