Champagne Moments

As we are celebrate our tenth year in business, my attention turns to that most celebratory of drinks and that most often associated with opera: Champagne

I reached a time in my life where I thought I would have no champagne moments. No kids graduations or weddings, no one to throw us anniversary parties, etc.

It was at this point that I decided that I would instead drink something sparkling at every opportunity I could. Because all moments are special in their way. Bonus: a reasonable sparkling option is often the same or less in price than “normal wine” on many restaurant menus- Hurrah!

My favorite is Prosecco but that is quibbling because I even consider sparkling water to be quite elegant.

Hope you will enjoy my list of sparkling drink choices to celebrate life’s beautiful and amazing moments.

1 part Orange Juice
1 Part Champagne, Prosecco or Cava

Bucks fizz
2 parts Champagne, Prosecco or Cava
1 part Orange Juice

Cindy’s easy lower sugar Poinsettia
I love this any time of year because Cranberry juice is so good for you. A proper poinsettia would include orange liqueur but I find it unnecessarily sweet…

1 part Champagne, Prosecco or Cava
1 part Diet Cranberry Juice (or regular juiceif you prefer)

To make any of these non-alcoholic, replace with your own preferred combinations of sparking grape juice, regular grape juice and/or sparkling water. I don’t like the sweetness of most bottled grape juice so I would opt for plain sparkling water which I find quite elegant in it’s own right.

Get creative because a spritz of sparkling water or seltzer in any kind of juice is a treat!
