Tchaikovsky's Eugene Onegin: A tale of love, friendship, youthful passion and tragic loss. An inexperienced young girl falls instantly in love with a worldly man who breaks her heart. Two friends are torn apart by jealousy with deadly consequences. The passing of time reveals too late the happiness that might have been.

- Beautiful Tatyana, her mother and sister are represented by elegant glass pearls.
- Worldly but cold Onegin is a faceted iridescent grey bead. Passionate young poet Lensky is Purple. His beautiful arias are symbolized by purple glass hearts.
- Both Tatyana and Onegin experience love at first sight at different times in the opera . A millefiore red heart symbolizes the blossoming of this love.
- Deep blue beads and luminous glass stars evoke Tatyana's feverish night of letter writing; Glass flowers and leaves represent the scene in the Larina's garden. A dark glass heart symbolizes Onegin's rejection of Tatyana's love.
- A green heart represents Lensky's jealousy, an oval metallic bead is the bullet that will kill him, the large heart with a "hole" is his death for the sake of his love for Olga. A grey crackle disc is Onegin's devastation at having killed his friend.
- The large flowered cloisonné heart and teardrop represent the love that Onegin and Tatyana could have had. The red crackle heart symbolizes Onegin's final despair.
