La Boheme Necklace

Nearly 50 years ago my mother took me to see La Boheme in New Orleans for my birthday. It was a very memorable experience for me--my first opera, a very special day spent with my mother--so many happy memories are spring from that day, along with my love of opera. When I saw the La Boheme necklace I knew I had found the perfect memento of that special day. I love wearing expressive and unique necklaces--even at home alone. The charms and beads on the necklace are beautiful, and reflect the theme and story of the opera so beautifully. The necklace has just enough dangles to be fun and to tell the story, but not so many that it looks junky--which can often be a problem with charm necklaces. I appreciate that the necklace is offered with a variety of chain lengths, as well as a "no chain" option. The necklace arrived in a beautiful brown box with the "O" from the Opera Bracelet logo embossed in golden bronze foil on the top. Inside the necklace was packaged in a brown organza bag. A story card detailing each charm or bead, and their meaning, accompanied the bracelet. Something that those who store their jewelry in the original boxes will appreciate--there is a label on the side of the lid identifying what is inside. I am so very pleased with this purchase. I have already made a wish list for my husband with several other necklaces on it--he won't have to struggle with birthday, anniversary, or Christmas presents for a few years!
