Part of the "Inspired by…" series, the Lucia's Love Bracelet is inspired by the love duet from Act 1 of Donizetti's tragedy, Lucia di Lammermoor. Lucia's and Edgardo swear their eternal vows of love to heaven and imagine the tears and sighs of their sadness and separation will be carried to each other by the wind and sea.
Soft matte finished beads the colors of mist, heather and highlands evoke the Scottish setting. A wavy heart symbolizes Lucia and Edgardo's duet. The doomed forbidden love is indicated by glass hearts. Celtic knots represent eternity. A dagger charm foretells the dark destiny waiting for Edgardo and Lucia, where we can only pray they will be reunited in death.
