J M Barrie's iconic children's novel, Peter Pan evokes the magical realm of Neverland and the fabulous nighttime flight to get there "second star to the right and straight on till Morning". The magical island's inhabitants: fairies, mermaids, pirates and more, create an atmosphere of adventure so familiar and beloved to both children and adults.
Deep blue and green beads with delicate glass stars evoke the night time flight to lush Neverland. The Big Ben charm indicates the start of the journey from London and the description of the joy of flying experienced by the Darling children: "...so great were the delights of flying that they wasted time circling round church spires or any tall objects on the way..."
A fairy charm represents the fairies and Tinkerbell whose magic is required for the flight. A pirate ship symbolizes all the danger and excitement ahead.
All "Inspired By..." Series bracelets come with a card that identifies the symbolism of the charms and colors used.
