Isolde thinks she is carrying out an act of revenge upon her nemesis Tristan; She will get herself out of an unwanted marriage by killing herself as a bonus. But, handmaid Brangane - through fear, nerves or accident has swapped the poison for a love potion. One sip and BAM! "Tristan!", "Isolde!"... an unstoppable, dangerous and tragic love commences.

The Sword: Tristan invites Isolde to satisfy her anger by slaying him with his sword.

The Goblet: Evoking the drink of love and death

The Heart: Wound with a Celtic knot indicating the setting of Celtic kingdoms and the winding of the two lives together eternally.

I chose deep red and wine colored beads with droplets and hearts to symbolize the fateful drink which is described in some versions as being mistaken for wine. As well, these colors represent passion which is the main emotion I associate with this tale...

All "Inspired By..." Series Bracelets come with a card that identifies the symbolism of the charms and colors used.

    A love potion perfectly distilled

    Posted by Zahra B. on 08 08 2020

This was the first of several pieces by Cindy that I've purchased, and its sumptuous colors and beautiful craftsmanship are every bit as captivating as when I opened the package. Each bracelet is even more stunning in person than in the photographs and is carefully assembled to evoke the essence of an aria, a character, or, in this captivating case, a potion of timeless love.

    Beautiful bracelet

The Love Potion bracelet is even prettier in person. I have fairly large wrists and was pleased that I could wear it. I just love it and am sure to buy another Opera Bracelet. Thank you!
