The Turiddu's Fate Bracelet is inspired by the characters of Mascagni's Cavalleria Rusticana.
While short in length, Cavalleria Rusticana has some important messages to relay, such as: 1. Don't sleep around and 2. Dont drink and duel.
A heart with Easter lilies in the design symbolizes the love triangle and setting of Easter. Dagger and wine goblet charms symbolize Turiddu's doom as he accepts a duel he is in no fit state to fight.
Blood red glass beads symbolize Turiddu's death while iridescent trumpet flower beads further evoke the ironic setting of Easter Sunday.
All "Inspired By..." Series Bracelets come with a card that identifies the symbolism of the charms and colors used.
As wine-dark and compelling as the music! Such mesmerizing elegance - I'll pair this with Love Potion in a few weeks.
The sheer grace of the lilies and trumpet flowers blooming amid the deep blood-red beads is irresistible--even more in person than in the photographs. Thanks to each carefully chosen element, this bracelet encapsulates the opera's passion, tragedy, and tenderness: an object not just of beauty but of contemplation and emotional connection. I love wearing this little work of art.
